At South Beach Cosmetic Surgery Center each patient requires and receives individualized attention. This
approach is particularly important when it comes to managing a patient following surgery. With extensive
consultations prior to surgery Dr. Tiller tries to inform the patient what he or she might expect following a
particular procedure.

Every patient is different, however, and that is why close follow-up during the early recovery period is so
important in order to ensure the patient is progressing as well as should be expected. Along with the
attention Dr. Tiller gives each of his patients following surgery it is very important that the patient have
someone with them for the first several days following surgery.

This care-giver is vital to the patient's initial surgical healing and can make the healing process much more
rapid and comfortable. Additionally, one of the regulations for the accreditation of the South Beach Cosmetic
Surgery Center surgical facility is that it is required that a responsible adult be with a patient for at least the
first 24-hours following general anesthesia. But, in fact, a patient usually needs a helping hand for several
days after virtually any surgery. Dr. Tiller and his staff will fully inform the patient what to expect in terms
of pain, swelling, and bruising that is expected after surgery.

Dr. Tiller is available by cell/office phone 24-hours a day throughout the initial healing period in order to
answer questions or concerns. Since so many of our patients are from out-of-town and are not able to bring
anyone with them, our office can help arrange home-health care such as ErezCare mentioned on our "Links"
page. So, as South Beach Cosmetic Surgery Center helps a person with their decision for cosmetic surgery,
we also provide assistance to help ensure the easiest, safest, and most rapid recovery.
